Everyone, one topic at a time
Family sessions
For households that need to settle one thing together and have not managed it at the kitchen table.
Planned, not open-ended
You and Edna choose the topic ahead of time, such as curfews, screens, chores or a move. Blocks are longer than a usual session.
Everyone is heard
Each person gets time to speak, and Edna keeps the conversation on the one topic.
A plan you write together
You leave with what the family agreed, in plain words, to try at home.

Method, limits and cost
The method
Family systems therapy, with communication and problem-solving skills. Edna explains the method and its possible risks and benefits before the first block.
What this is not
Not a way to decide who is right, and not a substitute for a parent's decision. Edna does not make custody or legal recommendations.
Length, and how it is paid
A longer block than a usual session, planned ahead. Family sessions have their own fee, given in writing before you start.

Questions
Three questions about family sessions
Does everyone have to come?
Everyone who lives with the topic is welcome. Edna talks it through with you first.
Do we need teen therapy first?
No. Many families start with a family session on one topic and add the others later.
Can a grandparent or stepparent join?
Yes, when they are part of the topic. Tell Edna ahead of time.
